My Role

I stepped up as the leader of our team project, ensuring its success. We started by developing the core game together, and then, in the second of the assignment part we were asked to split up as solo for the UI development.

The Purpose

The game was developed as part of the UI design assignment, where our objective was to design, create and implement a game and its UI that aligns with the theme. Additionally, the game has to have a on-click movement system that uses AI pathing and a scoring system.

The Concept

The primary goal is to increase your score by collecting coins while minimizing the number of steps taken.

However, there's an additional challenge to overcome the hunger meter, which gradually depletes over time.

To ensure your chicken's survival, you must gather apples to replenish the hunger meter. To win the game the chicken must explore all tree zones.

Chest Mechanic

The chest is acting as a mystery box, where you will be assigned a randomized amount of points.

Level Design

There are three biomes:

  • Forest
  • Desert
  • Dungeon

  • To access the dungeon, players must find two key fragments, one in the forest and the other in the desert. These fragments are required to unlock a door blocking the path.

    Game Over

When a game over occurs, a score report will be displayed to the player. If the score achieved is a new record, it will be added to the scoreboard.

The player's name will be stored and displayed for future game sessions, allowing their name to be visible to other players as well. players
